Govt or Finance?

Which Major should I choose? I like them both equally and see distinct advantages to both of them. My end goal is to go to law school or Bschool

Government
-BA instead of BS, liberal arts major that law schools seem to prefer
-More reading and writing, so it would help me on the LSATs
-Would take 2 less math classes
-Law schools prefer lib arts while Bschools have no preference
-The upper level classes are less math based than in finance

Finance
-School of management more reputable than school of social sciences here
-Finance is better recruited than government and would probably land me a better job should I decide to work for a few years before BSchool
-Finance allows me to take honors classes in business whereas govt doesnt give me that option
-More classes are offered more frequently in business giving me more flexibility in my schedule
-I can still join the pre law society regardless of my major.

Note:Number of elective classes would be about the same

Law schools don't really prefer lib arts; they prefer big numbers. Do finance.

Which do you enjoy the most?

As I said I enjoy them about equal. When I was younger I liked government better but now my interest has shifted more towards finance

Help please?

If you're leaning more towards business school do finance.
If you're leaning more towards law school do whatever you can get a higher GPA in.
If you're not sure, double major. :D

I doubt I can doubt major itd take up 40 more hours :( , I just need to know if government is looked upon more favorably (because it is theory based) if so how much? Im thinking of doing finance and minoring in govt

what university are you going to? law schools don't give a crap what you major in (unless it's patent law but that's another story). you will probably get a higher GPA in government (you could prolly look that up) so if you are set on law school go with government - you could minor or double major in econ if you like that

will law schools also cross examine which majors have the highest GPA?
