Gpa- 3.6

Hello, i know my gpa is quite low for an ivy league especially but my school is different from most. our A- is from 90-95 and A 95-100 and we do not have A+ :( and i take all honor classes. is there a way i can overcome this low gpa with high sats scores and a good gpa junior year which is looking to be around a 3.8~3.84 thanks. getting really worried..

The schools are given your school’s grading scale, and when they see how harsh it is, they may re-think your 3.6, and actually give you props for it because it is pretty high for a school that clearly does not hand out good grades. If your school does class rank, then your low GPA can be easily justified.

What’s your rank? Official or unofficial, where you rank is the key.

thank you guys and that sort of the problem. my school doesnt rank and i dont noe what to do :(((

Your guidance counselor can probably inform you of your rank or at least if you are in the top 10%, top 25%, etc. Many schools don’t officially rank. Your school report will put your grades in context. Don’t worry about it.
