Hello. I’m applying next year, spring 2017 to top 5 UCs. I really want to do mechanical,aerospace engineering , My top priority would be Cal. I ruined my soph/ junior year, got 2 C’s.Got rejected from all UCs. However, I applied with terrible ACT of 26 and was being stupid that chose all my first AND secondary majors as engineering. Now, I want to try my luck again, this time with Act of 33 and second major as undeclared(Cal major will be physics). Any chances I would get in?
I have pretty good background . (my National Science Bowl Team went to nationals this year), volunteered at public library for 2 years, volunteered in Ukraine(helped refugees from conflict zone), Do professional fencing for 9 years, have been in nationals. Participated in UC Berkley Math Club, Robotic’s club for 1 year, Worked as Uc Berkley Editor for 1 year.
So should I spend additional 350$ to apply for spring, or there is no point and I should go to community 
?
