College is just to confusing. I'm a junior and I went to go see my counselor a while ago and I thought I had all the answers but now I feel like I don't. So I thought this site could help. So my first question is about y GPA is it good enough !!!!!!! Right now as it stands its a 3.25. I feel like that so low from what I've seen on this site . and some of my friends told me that as u go through high school your GPA gets harder and harder to get up. Right now one of my top priority schools is university of Michigan do I have a chance at tthat? Also the only activity I have out of school in is track which I play varsity but I feel that now enough although I do work. y help is greatly welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Calm down! You will be fine, more important than gpa is class rank and rigor of courses. Make sure you are taking the most difficult classes you can and just do the best you can. Also, study hard for SAT and/or ACT and aim for an 1800+ (or a 27+ for ACT). I wouldn’t worry so much about your school activities, but it is always good to be part of one or two clubs. I can’t chance you right now, but I have a feeling you will be fine! Good luck!

Thanks for the support. Right now I’m taking 2 APS and all honors besides my math. But I’m in pre-calc which is a senior math class. Should I have taken more APS?

Try to do as best you can on the SAT as well! Good luck! I believe in you.

Then you should be fine, have you taken any PSATs, PLANs, SATs or ACTs?

You should be fine, just do well in challenging courses and study for the SATs or ACTs. Also a lot more goes into into it like clubs, volunteer hours, other ecs.

You must get your GPA up to get into University of Michigan. It’s virtually impossible to get admitted with anything lower than a 3.5, not to be discouraging. Getting high test scores and getting very good grades rest of junior year is extremely important so you can show at least an upward trend in grades as you can’t get your GPA up that much now. Good luck.

I haven’t taken and sort of SAT type test yet but I’m hoping to very soon. However I have taken the PSAT which I dident do to well in.

You should be fine! Just make sure you take AP’s and stuff like that so that colleges see that you can handle their workload. Chance back!
