GPA an issue?

<p>Okay, so I'm thinking about going to ND, but I'm not sure if my stats are the great.
ACT: 33
GPA: 3.5 UW 3.8 W. (This has killed my soul, I got straight A's Junior Year, however <em>3 APs</em>)
Senior Year I'm taking 5 APs, so that will be 8 APs...and my school only offers 10 APs.</p>

<p>Btw, one quick question, is it alright to not send our SAT scores? Since they said "send in either ACT or SAT score reports"...I'm thinking about sending only my ACT scores...</p>

<p>I'm a Mexican immigrant, Hispanic, if that helps, lol.</p>

<p>President of LiNK Chapter, a lot of hours here and there, but my main issue and concern/question is my GPA...</p>

<p>^ You’ve got a great shot and a great shot at all the ivies also etc. since you’ve got good stats and are a URM.</p>

<p>yes, diversity will help you and your ACT is right on par for ND. If you get straight As in your first semester then your GPA will go up dramatically. For this reason, I would say apply RD.</p>

<p>thank you very much for the kind words ---- about the whole SAT vs. ACT - I would only send in the score that was higher so in this case I would only send in the ACT. I never took the ACT (in the east we usually don’t take the ACT) so I only sent in the SAT and that was fine.</p>
