GPA blunder - Transfered Schools - Will MedSchools See This?

When you apply to Medical School. Does the Med School look at all the institutions you attended?

For example, I attended Northeastern University for one Semester. Due to extenuating circumstances, I had a 2.1 GPA, and made the choice to transfer back home.

All my credits transfered, but my GPA was terrible.

So, in the near future, lets say I get graduate with a 3.5 GPA. When I apply to Medical school, will the Medical School ask for my 1st - and only - semester at Northeastern? If this lessen my chance of acceptance, seeing that I bombed my GPA?

Yep - you have to submit transcripts for every college you’ve attended.
But med schools give you a little leeway your first semester, and a strong upward trend is always a good thing.
