GPA Calc

Does anyone know whether when they calculate the GPA according to their standards, they use one or 2 decimals? So if one had a 3.97, would they keep the .97 or would it round being over .95 up to 4.0? Just curious if anyone had seen this calc that was calculated by FSU.

You can email admissions. I believe they use only one decimal point, but whether they round up or not I have no idea. I do know that some schools do drop the 2nd decimal place and don't round up.

They don't round. So if you have a 3.97 its a 3.97, at least comparing what you say to my FSU GPA.

I did get an email indicating they round to the nearest tenth and a 3.97 would be a 4.0. BTW, UF confirmed the same thing.

So my GPA of a 3.76 is a 3.8? if thats so then I am happpee
