My school only calculates weighted GPA (where anything 93+ is a 4.0+) & I wanted to estimate my unweighted GPA.
Out of 100, my GPA is 96.2 with no weighted classes (but a rigorous course load for freshman year/ all honors where applicable)
I get how it's a 4 for a's, 3 for b's etc. but I want to know if you use 2 semester averages or the year long average for courses that took up to semesters. For example in my math class I had a 92 average (B) the first semester but a 94 average for the year (A). So I was wondering which I use? or if it varies?
If it goes semesters, I would have a 3.86 but if I went by year long average I would have a 4.0 so I'm interested in hearing your advice.

Thanks so much!
