GPA calculation?

<p>Hi, I was a student academically dismissed from UC Merced...I am trying to enroll at Cal Baptist University and other UC's...however, I am a transfer student with over 100 semester units from a community college. I failed most of my classes the first semester I was there, except for one. I am planning to transfer with an different major, so I am wondering what my GPA will be...will they look at my community college transcripts that contain nearly all of my classes with a GPA of 3.1...or will they somehow calculate in my UC Merced transcripts that have only 4 earned units on it and a GPA of 1.something? </p>

<p>P.S. Also I pretty much have all my lower division classes taken care of...so I don't think I can just take more classes at a junior college. Any suggestions?</p>

<p>by the way, just to clarify…I did not fail any classes at the community college…only at the UC</p>

<p>The will probably look at all the transcripts but should focus more on the more recent grades.</p>
