GPA calculation

From my understanding, the LSAC uses any grades obtained before a BA/BS in calculating the GPA. Of which, includes transfer credits earned from another college.

I am currently on my final semester of undergrad but I am also taking other courses at a local CC at the same time. I don’t necessarily need the credits earned from the CC to fulfill the requirements for my bachelor’s since its a completely different program. With that said, if I apply to law school will the credits earned from CC (and not applied towards my bachelor’s) be factored into my LSAC GPA? Will I have to transfer the credits that I am currently working on (at the CC) to the college I am going to receive my BA in order for the LSAC to factor in those grades?

yes (LSCA will use them since LSAC requires transcripts from every college that you ever attended, unless its like a study abroad and the grades show up on your 4-year transcript), no (need to official transfer to your 4 year school).
