GPA calculation

Hello,

I'm considering applying to Duke this coming fall but am not sure how to calculate it's GPA. If someone could help me out, that'd be fantastic! Thanks in advance.

Does Duke consider UW or W or both?

Some schools don't consider non-academic courses such as PE and Health when calculating their GPA; do Marching Band and Symphonic Band fall into this category of non-academic courses for Duke?

What years of high-school do Duke consider (ie. 9th-11th, 10th-11th, 10th-12th_firstsemester, etc.)?

Do classes taken at a local community college count towards the GPA? If I took a course the summer between 9th and 10th grade, would this course be considered part of 9th or 10th?

Does Duke superscore the SAT?

Thank you very much and have a wonderful summer!

i would like to kno the same

along with:

When they calculate one's GPA, what is consider a 4.0 and so forth???

they consider both and yes SAT is superscored

I don't think they recalculate GPA. Rather, they will assess your GPA in the context of the system your school/district uses which is usually included as an "endnote" on your transcript. More important I think would be your rank in the class since they report this statistic rather than GPA per se. I believe they look at both W and UW GPA and your grades from all classes taken including those in 9th grade and from dual enrollment work but, again, don't exactly recalculate.
