<p>how exactly do I calculate my high school gpa out of 4.0 if my school grades out of 100?
is it-
93-100 = A = 4.0
90-92 = A- = 3.7
87-89 = B+ = 3.3
and then just average all those numbers together to get a gpa?
are the ranges different? and also can you calculate an A+ as 4.3?</p>
<p>thanks</p>
<p>my school is different and quite unfair to those who get high grades in their range such as 99s and 89s or 79s but quite an advantage to those that get 90s 80s 70s...etc...
because we have
90-100 is 4.0
80-89 is 3.0
70-79-2.0
and so on</p>
<p>4.0 95-100 A
3.9 94 A
3.8 93 A
3.7 92 A
3.6 91 A
3.5 90 A
3.4 89 B
3.3 88 B
3.2 87 B
3.1 86 B
3.0 85 B
2.9 84 B
2.8 83 B
2.7 82 B
2.6 81 B
2.5 80 B
2.4 79 C
2.3 78 C
2.2 77 C
2.1 76 C
2.0 75 C
1.9 74 C
1.8 73 C
1.7 72 C
1.6 71 C
1.5 70 C</p>
<p>That's from Princeton Review, and I think that's how colleges do it too.</p>
<p>ok so i just convert all my 95's and above to 4.0s and the rest to whatever they are, then add those numbers up and find the average?</p>
<p>that makes my 98-100 grades much worse :(</p>
<p>I ended up with a 3.8 UW and 4.27 W, 3.93 and 4.77 for this year though</p>
