GPA calculations ?

<p>How do you convert Canadian GPAs to US ?
or are they the same ?</p>

<p>In Cananda, I think
A= >86% and 4.0... and you add the scores up and divide them by the number of courses or something ?</p>

<p>Does US GPA calculation system operate in this way as well ?
And how do you calculate un-weighted and weighted GPAs with IB scores?(1~7... you know...)</p>

<p>I think the regional admisson person for each school are well aware of the canadian systems and as for how they deal with it.. i have no idea.</p>
