In Europe we don't have a GPA system therefore I have questions about applying to college. This is my first year in the U.S :)
I am currently taking 1 AP and 4 IB classes. Next year, I'll be taking 7 IB classes. (I'm in the IB program.) However, my current GPA is 3.25. My school uses this grading scale:
A 94 - 100
B 87 - 93
C 75 - 86
D 69 - 74
I'm also planning to take online AP courses during the summer and I signed up for SAT prep courses this coming January. (I don't know if that matters)
This worries me after seeing the GPA requirements for colleges. I know that SAT scores also matter but I'm worried my high school transcript might ruin my chances.
Can someone tell me the importance of the high school transcript? And if someone has advice for me, that'll be great! Thanks.

The HS transcript is possibly the most important part of your app package. It tells the college the difficulty of your courses, your grades, and rank. Colleges look at each of those data differently. Look up the Common Data Set for each college to see where GPA may take a lesser role to your strengths (like SAT).
