gpa conversion from 100 point scale?

My gpa is 97/100. I've had only As (93-100%) throughout high school. So will colleges see this as a 4.0 or a 3.88?

Most schools recalculate your GPA based on whatever system they use to make it an equal playing field because some schools give -'s and +'s which can lower or raise the GPA while others just use solid letter grades. Don’t worry.

Likely, a 4.0. But what’s more important is your rank.

I’m 6/300. I think #1 is at 98.5/100.

To convert to a 4.0 scale GPA convert your grades one course at a time … if you have As in all your classes then you would have a 4.0. This assumes your school does not give pluses or minuses … or give additional wieghting for honors or AP classes … if they do it gets more complicated … however the bottom line still holds; convert a course at a time and then figure your GPA; do not convert your overall average.
