GPA Conversion question?

Will Cornell convert my grades based on a 100 scale, to a G.P.A. system where 95-100 is a 4.0 (A), 94-3.9 etc. or will they use my school's grading system where 93-100 (A) ,83-92- B etc.

Each college has their own system, if you look at CB and ACT they also have their own system. Try looking into Cornell's FAQ

That's a really interesting question, though it's something you should really care about too much. It's not like you can do anything about it. Just get the best grades you can get, right?

i always thought that if your high school grades on a 100 scale you just divide whatever your average is by 25 to get the true exact number. thats what my high school does at least and i think its more accurate because the difference between getting a 95 in my school and 100 is everything so its not really fair to just give all those people a 4.0
