GPA @ Dartmouth question

What do you think would be considered a good (not fantastic) GPA at Dartmouth? I know the median is around a 3.3 so is it safe to make these assumptions?

3.0-3.3: average

3.3-3.5: good

3.6-3.8: great

3.9-4.0: GOD.

I go by these: Honors

In addition to the honors, this website tracks the average GPA over the years. [Dartmouth College](Dartmouth College)

Depends on the major. A physical science major (and engineer and econ?) will be taking Frosh courses where the mean is a low B. In contrast, some/many hume/lit courses have a mean grade of A. (Of course, the same is true at every college.)
