GPA Drop Senior Year?

This year I really bit off more than I could chew (took the hardest classes in the school will also stage managing two shows) and even after working as hard as I could, there’s a good likelihood that finals are going to destroy all my grades and I’ll end with a 3.75 GPA. Now, I know this is still generally good, but I’ve never had less than a 3.95 before–my cumulative in a 3.993. This means that my new cumulative will be a 3.95.

I know this is still really high, but that’s not what I’m worried about. I know that colleges like to see an upward trend, and I’m worried that this .25 drop could destroy my chances at top schools.

Am I completely screwed now? Does the fact that the classes I’m struggling with are AP Calc BC, AP Physics, and AP Comparative Government help at all?

Those are all unweighted, by the way.

A cumulative GPA of 3.95 is still very competitive, I think you’re worrying more than you need to.

Don’t worry about it. If colleges see that you are challenging yourself, you should be fine.

Okay, thanks. Yeah, I tend to worry a lot haha.
