GPA drop...what should I do?

<p>Hello, now I am currently sophomore at Oberlin College, I was thinking about transfer to emory university, washu, and rice university after my sophomore year, i mean junior transfer, but my freshman first semester gpa is 3.3(it is really bad) well one a one b one b- one c, I know this is really bad for transfer because i know GPA is first priority in transfer admission. This was my total fault... but after that, I got all a except one A- so far, but i am really worried about my first semester GPA, Is there any possibility that I can transfer to one of these schools? or should I give up because of first semester GPA?</p>

(i really need to transfer because oberlin does not have engin department)</p>

<p>keep your grades up for the upcoming semesters and try to squeeze in a summer class or 2 if you’re really worried and bring your cumulative gpa up and you’ll be okay.</p>

<p>If you need to transfer since O doesn’t have an engineering degree, then you should broaden your list of colleges to include reach, match and safety schools.</p>
