gpa fluctuation

if my gpa was about 93.1 during freshman year with two hns courses and two college prep (regular)

and my gpa cummulative for sophomore year is like 93.01 would that look bad? i went from college prep english and history to AP US and HN english.

just this first semester for my junior year, i brought my gpa up pretty high, first marking period was 95.6 i believe. and i'm around 97.57 for second marking period.

the fact that my grade went down for sophomore year... would that look bad?

you’re fine. stop frettin and begin to wallow in your high GPS

…seriously?

are you seriously worrying about tenths of a point? seriously a 93.1 is viewed as the same as a 93.2…

im not trying to sound pathetic on CC, i just wasnt sure if that would be looked down upon. i finished AP US with a C or C+ at the end of the year…

The first time read your post I didn’t even notice what you were talking about. If anything you have a nice upward trend since junior year is higher

thanks tonytet. i just hope the C in sophomore year doesnt drag me down too much…

I don’t think this will be a problem at all. That difference is virtually undetectable, and almost all students have blemishes on their record somewhere, whether it be in their GPAs, Test Scores, ECs, Recommendations, Essays, etc.

Good Luck, and don’t worry! :)

thanks college3231 :)
