MY stats(2180 on sat) and ec's are good, but my grades worry me, by this semester's end i had 4.0 weighted and about a 3.6 uw can somebody help me please i applied rd
interned at
goldman sachs
world bank
price waterhouse
school treasurer

Wow i have similar stats. so just relax. How did u get the intern at Goldman Sachs and World Bank?! Those will give u a big boost. Did u take any aps? I took one class at community college- economics had a B :(

I'm interning at this microfinance organization in DC and thats about it.. But i also have alot of business ec.
Founder and president of school business club and summer program at Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth.(our corporate sponsor was GS and we visited them in ny) Those are the two most important and whole other ones related the business
If i was the admission committee ill accept u.

thanx my dad's hs buddy works at the world bank and my mom works goldman sachs
junior year 3 ap's
senior year 5 ap's
btw mcdonough is easier to get into then the other g-town schools, rite?
im just worried about my early grades, a 3.5 or 3.6 weighted with no ap's but 4 honors not great

im worried now that i don't have enough business experience... i was treasurer of the environmental club and i've had a job since last january, 3 days a week after school for a sports marketing company-- is that enough?

i have a lot of other good extracurriculars, but they are all non-business related-- senior editor of newspaper, president of girls learn international, vice president of environmental club, model un, tour guide, i don't know other random things haha but does msb consider those at all? please say they do... i mean wouldn't even a business school like to see well-rounded people who aren't 100% focused on business and on ly business?

oh yeah, and possibly my biggest help-- my brother graduated second in his class at msb...

oh yeah and zag i think you are FINE-- seriously, i would be surprised if you didn't get in...

By the way Gtown only looks at the verbal and math, so it should be out of 1600. I really don't know if they want focus or well-rounded.
-I hope that my sincere passion and extreme focus on business will help. if not then o well.
-I'm also involve in other stuff(church, sports, etc) but i didnt really stress them except on the last page.
But Goldman Sachs is one of the most prestigious firm so having that on the applicantion will certainly help.

bump bump ....

i love my life right now. i cant tell you why on here but you can pm me if you are interested hahah it has to do w/ gtown ahhh!!!
