I keep seeing on the websites of some programs (i.e. Miami) that you need a minimum HS GPA of 3.7 or 3.75. My school only does grades out of 100. What is a 3.75 AND what is a 3.7 on a 100 scale? Are these grades weighted or NOT? Thanks!

well, from my quick and crappy math, a 3.75 is 93.75, while a 3.7 is an even 92.5

Best of luck!

What is a 3.75 AND what is a 3.7 on a 100 scale? I'm not sure about that because you are just making a proportion- having a 98 average should be 4.0.

ALSO..Are these grades weighted or NOT that they are asking for the minimum requirements for these programs? Thanks!

can anyone answer?

i've gotten the general idea that they're unweighted...........yikes, i know....

i would guess that, unweighted, :
93-100 = 4.0
87-92 = 3.75
83-86 = 3.5
77-82 = 3.0

maybe?...maybe not....just call up the university ad com.

Thanks.. that's what I had in mind.

Anyone else?
