I am going to be a senior this fall and currently my GPA is at 3.63 (~91/100). i understand that i will only have one semester next year, but i really want to raise it to about a 3.8. is this even possible (considering i work my ass off)? Or, if not, how much could i possibly increase my GPA during senior year?

Let’s assume you take the same amount of classes each semester. You averaged a 3.63 for six semesters, and let’s say you get a 4.0 for one semester.

thanks! lol it was that simple? … i feel a little stupid now.
do you know how badly the 3.6 would affect college admissions? i scored a 2180 on the SAT and have a 4.0+ gpa weighted. i wanted to get into a top tier college but, i dont think i can anymore.

Some colleges count freshman year, some don’t.

The fall semester of senior year does count if you are applying regular decision to schools that have an early January deadline. You arrange to have the fall transcripts sent as soon as they are available.

If you are applying to a school that does rolling admissions (some public colleges) and you apply early, then maybe the fall semester will not count. If you are applying early action or early decision and the deadline is in November, then the fall semester will not count unless you are deferred.
