Hi guys, I hear back from my schools in a few weeks but I had one question:
my GPA is a 3.65. My dream schools’ average GPA’s are 3.75 and 3.88. Is this an overlook-able difference provided my EC’s/essays/recommendations are stellar?
Also, my ACT is a 28. Said dream schools’ average ACT scores are 28-32. The only section that brought me down was science, which was very low. However, I am applying as a literature major.
Do you think my stats are low enough to warrant a rejection/waitlist or do I still have hope if the rest of my application supports me?
As you said, your scores are on the low side, but not outside of the spectrum, and the rest of your application supports you. This means you’re a competitive applicant. Considering you can’t change anything at this point, stop worrying, it just makes your life harder and doesn’t help.
