GPA in your Common App is your latest or your cumulative GPA?

Hi,

When you enter your GPA in your application, is that figure the figure of your latest term, or is it a cumulative average/mean of certain previous years?

How is this calculated, guys?

Thanks in advance ^^

I think it is average of junior, senior years. Hmm, how do schools convert percent grades to GPA?(My country doesn’t use GPA grading method, instead we use percent grading from 0% F to 100% A) I’ve seen some charts; it shows that 95%+ is 4.0. Do all schools follow this method or do they vary between different schools?

You have to enter a cumulative GPA, not the one for your current term.

Use this to calculate your unweighted cumulative GPA, which is the main gpa that most colleges consider:

take out the space between scholar and ships though; cc filters it for some reason.
