The whole thing is basically a participation grade (free 100).</p>

<p>It depends on how your school does it. I’m sure colleges will weigh grades in core academic subjects more highly. I’m not so sure whether colleges care that much about grades in art and music.</p>
<p>Every school has a different policy. You’d have to talk to your counselor or registrar. Either way, colleges will see the grade when they look at your transcript, so it won’t just disappear, even if it’s not counted in GPA.</p>
