<p>I was talking to a student from UT (t.u.) and he said good grades in austin are really hard to get, like a 3.3 is the best you can get even with hard work</p>
<p>so heres my question: is a high gpa 3.5+ realy hard/ impossible to get while haveing a social life at tamu?</p>
<p>If you’re not partying every night of the week, then yes. It’s not like you need to stay in and study on every Thur/Fri/Sat to get a good GPA.</p>
<p>It’s easier to get a higher GPA at A&M than at UT now that UT’s using a new GPA scale. And yeah, you don’t really need to study everyday to get a good GPA.</p>
<p>The two schools are rivals so I think that it depends on who you ask. I don’t know of anybody that has that high of a GPA at TAMU that doesn’t work there butt off. It really depends on your major though. Aerospace Engineering is obviously going to be a lot harder than Education.</p>
