Did anyone get into an ivy-league school with a unweighted 90 average (gpa) or knows anyone who did?

That's fine for an IVY depending on how hard your classes are/were.

and ur EC matters a lot too. gpa, scores, and whatnot lose their usefulness after a certain point :

I definately agree with that. I had an arguement earlier with this kid- I said you can get into IVYs with a 90 unweighted GPA and he is telling me you definately can't or atleast extremely unlikely. Anyone else?

You definitely can. A girl at my school got accepted to UPenn with a 3.79 cum. GPA, while I got rejected from Columbia wiht a 3.93 cum. GPA. We take the same classes.

It does depend on the school. People at my school have gotten into Brown, Penn, Stanford (yeah I know not an ivy), and Dartmouth so far all with 3.8's or less. Most with 3.7's or less. But then no one at my school has ever gotten a 4.0

Ivies are overrated ;)

Anyone else?

The most important factor is class rank. At some schools a 90 would be in the top 2%, at others the top 20%. It would be hard to get into an ivy if your GPA is not in the top 10% no matter what it is.

anyone else?

There was a girl who got in to UPenn with a 3.79 from my school. I had a 3.93 taking harder classes and was rejected from Columbia... anything in the 3.7-4.0 range should be fine as long as you show you are dedicated and put in ample time on your essays/application.

Alright sounds good. And what unweighted GPA is 3.7-4.0 out of 100?

really, that’s sounds great for me! thanks for your help. When you say classes would English Honors, AP World History, Geometry Honors and AP Chemistry do it?
