<p>Hey, I just finished first semester of senior year and I received a D in one of my classes - AP Biology. There is no possibility for the teacher to give me a C anymore and so far I've had a 3.9ish really decent GPA. I heard colleges rescind applications for students who receive D's in senior year. Is there anything I can do so the colleges won't rescind me because of this one grade or how can I possibly stop this from ruining my entire life?</p>

<p>i know this senior last year who flunked AP calc and was already accepted into Emory. when Emory found out they took away his admission and his scholarship. but then he talked to the principal and the principle made the math teacher chance the grade into a D, and now he’s at Emory with a smaller scholarship.
so maybe try to talk to your principal?</p>
