GPA making me depressed

@FalloutWizard Some colleges do not look at freshman GPA when calculating overall GPA, so that is on your side. That means that your current GPA is a 3.4. Not great, but certainly not terrible. You still have time to raise your GPA a bit higher, maybe to a 3.55. That would be on the low end of the spectrum for competitive schools, but you can make up for it with other things. EC’s, essay’s, SAT’s/ACT’s are all taken into account when you apply, so don’t think just because your GPA is not as strong, your application will automatically be overlooked.
