gpa merit

Lets say that theres a scholarship that requires 1100(math and cr) on SAT and 3.5 gpa
If I have a 1230(math and cr) and 3.2 gpa at the end of junior year, could I get the scholarship if I have a 3.5 after first semester of senior year? at end of senior year?

Not certain of the parameters of this particular scholarship but I'd guess no....not possible if you are lower than the required GPA. Most scholarships have huge applicant base and are difficult to receive. However, with that said, there are always the exception to the rules. Can't hurt to try. Daughter filled out dozens of scholarship applications and won three. Over four years, worth $28K, in addition to those received by her school.

Yes, I've been on scholarship committees that awarded scholarships to students with gpas lower than the posted criteria. Such students, though, had so much going for them (typically amazing essays and very impressive ECs demonstrating extraordinary character ) that the committee was willing to overlook their gpa.

You also may still have time to raise your gpa to meet the requirement.
