GPA on ACT score report

I got my think in the mail and it said HS GPA 3.58.....and i wa slike whooaaaa! thats not right!......do colleges look at that?....my GPA is closer to a 3.8

I think when you register they ask for grades in courses. I didn't realize they actually use it so I was pretty ranodm filling it out. did you fill it in accurately?
... I need to figure out how to get that off my report.

I started a thread about this about a week ago. Mrs. Ferguson said you can call and have your grades taken off.

Well, this is not good for me if the colleges see this. My school does not rank, but because it asked, I put down "Top 25%" as my class rank. I also had them send this directly to four of the colleges I was applying to, including Columbia.

Wilil Columbia actually consider that class rank? Because I actually have no idea what my class rank is...

On the other hand, the same report says Columbia's average GPA is a 3.8, and that mine is a 3.88. God, I wish that was true!!

ok...well it doesnt matter does it? cause colleges will just look at your transcript...

Right, jaw: Colleges have all this information available on your official transcript. They are not likely to pay much attention to this stuff on your ACT report, since they know it's all self-reported. But it might benefit you in another way: You know how when you register it asks if you want to participate in this thing where you get information about scholarships and grants and colleges and stuff? Well, the people that order names and addresses from ACT so that they can send you that stuff can say they only want kids from Wisconsin who are in the top 25% of their class, or have a GPA of at least 3.0, and all kinds of things like that. So by providing your information, you're more likely to get all that information. I don't know how much of it is any good, but some of it must be.
