I've got Bs, that much is clear, but on the Secondary school report, just in terms of numbers, my GPA will be written as 3.8 uw, and 4.0 when weighted. Assuming the school doesn't recalculate it (which I think less than half do at least), then will the B's on my transcript (8) be that important if I still have a good GPA (and within top 10%).?

Colleges look at the grades in individual classes on the transcript. If you want to major in English or history, most will overlook Bs in math and sciences and vice versa from my experience.

Liberal arts colleges aren't overlooking any grades ... regardless of what you want to major in.

But, really, B's aren't the end of the world. Relax :)

There's been so much discussion on this forum about how it keeps you from the top tier. I guess the top tier isn't everything, but it's not a crime to want to make it there as well. Really tiny things like being in the top 4 % and only having three Bs or less are making me kinda sad . . . that's all. I'm trying to see if my chances at excellent non-top 5-10 universities are ruined.
