GPA only based on 10 and 11 grades?

<p>is it true that uci, along with all the other uc's, determine your gpa based on the academic classes you took only during your 10th and 11th grade years? like they say the school's average gpa for entrance is 3.91, so that's only based on those two years right? and whenever the people on this forum mention their stats and gpa, do they only mean their 10/11 grade gpa?</p>

<p>cause if that's the case, i would have a 3.89 weighted gpa based on those two years, but do you think that's solid enough for entrance to the school?</p>

<p>YES, UC GPA is only determine by your 10th and 11th grade. 3.89 gpa would be solid enough to enter the UC SYSTEM.</p>

<p>Yep that was my exact UC GPA and I got into UCI...realize admission is dependent on a lot more than GPA though.</p>
