i dont know if this question has been posted before.
i'm sure it has but i would love your help ~

do college admins look at your gpa/rank more than your sat scores or vice versa?

im a junior and my gpa is a 4.0 but my sat score is a 1340/2140.
i found out my rank as of last marking period is 7/803.

i'm kinda stressing because a 1340 isnt stellar at all.
i'm looking at rutgers pharm, boston college, and nyu stern as matches.
do i have a chance?

gpa is def. more important than SAT scores. But SAT scores are important too ... because its a way to level the playing field. Everyone takes the same SATs, but not everyone goes to the same type of high school ... one high school might be tougher than the other

Bs is a match, no idea Rutgers, Stern is a huge reach.

Actually, the most important is class rank, which is GPA put into perspective. However, the better the college, the more they expect you to have stellar everything as is the case with Stern.

Grades reflect how hard you work. Test scores reflect how much you know. 'Nuff said.

top 1% rank is awesome. Your 2140 is pretty good, as well. But, I'm guessing that one test brought you down, math? If so, it's the easiest for which to prepare. Work some practice problems this summer, and take again in the fall; a 1450+ will make you competitive for nearly every school. Good luck.

Rutgers - Safety

BC - Match

NYU Stern - Slight Reach

GPA. By far. More than SAT I + SAT II. It's not even funny. (I wish it were)
