<p>Jamaica: A student who does well over time should also do well on standardized tests. A 32/34 ACT would compliment the OP’s high class rank/GPA. However, the OP mentioned he had a 29 ACT, which is not in Yale’s ACT range of 30-34 and does not correspond to his 4.0 unweighted GPA. It is a red flag. Standardized test scores are not everything, but they do weigh heavily in college admissions.</p>
