I was doing well in school in terms of GPA, staying rank 1/2 in school until this semester, (2nd of Junior year), where i've plummetted to 2 B+'s atm. I'm trying as hard as I can to recover them.

However, if i end up with 2 B+'s, how great an impact will that be, particularly on ivy league schools. (upenn, columbia in particular)

The thing that worries me is the fact that this will show a downward trend in terms of GPA over the years =/

Well, if you're happy with going to DeVry University, 2 B's is no big deal :)

In all seriousness, you're fine as long as you're taking advanced courses and doing well in them. (a few stray Bs is not a huge factor in admissions)
