GPA QUESTION...Yes, another one

ok so I know that top ivies like HYSMC (im not applying to P so don't care), recalculate GPA using only core subjects. Right?
Well, I received a B+ in Journalism of freshmen year. That won't count will it?
along with the grades in P.E., health, public speaking, and computer science as mandatory requirements?
So, taking those out, I am left with 19 Core subjects by the end of junior year, all of which i have recieved A/A+'s except for two: AP history and Eng honors. I got B+'s for both. So what would my UW GPA be? the one that colleges would use? Im not sure how they would recalculate GPA, but if you guys know, can you tell me?
These are the aforementioned schools:
HYSMC.

thanks!

Freshman year doesn’t count
Gym and other “fluff” courses don’t count (like Art 1)
Computer science might actually count.

A = 4
B = 3
C = 2
D = 1

Some schools use A+/A, A-, B+/B, B-, etc

^so journalism doesn’t count right?

And are you sure about the freshman grades don’t count? Im pretty sure they do for HYMC but not for S.

And i heard that HYMC uses +/-'s except for stanford.

bump…
