GPA Question?

Should I mention on my college apps that my high school changed its grading scale midway through my high school career? It use to be 93-100 is an A, 86-92 a B and so on. Now it's 90-100 is an A, 80-89 B and so forth. My GPA is solid but there are two or three B's sophomore year that should have been A's in the new grading scale, thus boosting my GPA.

Is it worth mentioning on my college app that the grading scale changed after my sophomore year? My high school wont recalculate the grades before the change.

I’d mention it…

It should say that on the school profile anyway but I would mention it just in case…

Would it be a big factor in admissions?

Well you do want to be as competitive as possible…
