<p>From what I understand, a 3.79 GPA at UF is a 3.79 GPA. It is what it is, no rounding.</p>

<p>P.S. You are referring to the final grade given on your transcript, right? Not the grade you have in class … and will the prof round up? Cause that is totally subjective to each prof, if you are referring to a class grade that’s not a final grade.</p>
<p>You could get away with putting 3.8 for a 3.79 on an application or resume but it isn’t going to make any difference. If there were some sort of hyper-competitive banking job or something similar that needed a 3.8 you may as well put 3.8 and you probably won’t get it anyway.</p>
