I was wondering, my schools GPA grading scale is much different than the grading scale on college board. For instance, an 87 at my school is a 2.8, while on college board it's a 3.3. My question is, will colleges see my schools grading scale? Or do they have their own scale and adjust someone's grade average to it?

If your school sends the college a transcript, the grading scale will be on it. (If you want to make sure you can check with the person at your school who sends them out). If you self-report, their is usually an option where you enter your school’s grading scale.

That is a pretty harsh scale. A cursory glance makes you appear less qualified than many other students.
