GPA question

So till date I have taken 10 university courses.
All are 3 credit hour courses. I failed one of them. And have 2.90 overall GPA as of today.

This semester I'm taking 4 courses (3 credit hour each) and I am hoping to get a 2.8 GPA.What will that raise my overall gpa to?

Also, is it possible to raise my overall gpa to 3.5 by the time I finish my degree (I need 40 courses)

Thanks!

Are you really too lazy to do the math yourself?

There are countless GPA calculators available online.

Most schools even have their own that is programmed to take their own specific methods into account.

Why do you only want a 2.8 GPA??

I hope you realize if you are only hoping for a 2.8 that doesn’t raise your GPA…

And yes, it is possible to still get a 3.5

Wait so you have a 2.9 overall, you’re getting a 2.8 this semester, and you think that’s somehow gonna raise your overall gpa? Unless I’m completely missing something, what sense does that even make?

Assuming that all classes are equal credit hours, you will would have a 2.87 at the end of this semester. If you made all As for the remaining 26 courses in your degree program, you would have a 3.6. Given your past performance, though, it would seem unlikely. Remember, a 3.5 is equivalent to one A for every B.
