I am moving schools, within the same state, and my current school, which is more rigorous considers an A- to be a 4.0 gpa, while my new school considers and A- to be a 3.68 gpa. When I transfer schools, will any A- that i received be considered as a 3.68 or a 4.0 gpa?
How/if the new school lists it on your transcript is a question that is unique to the new school. You would need to ask the GC there.
Your new GC would get the transcript and school profile from your old school and send it with the ones from your new school.
I agree to talk to your guidance counselor, but I would assume it would be recalculated to fit the school’s new scale.
