<p>I am in 9th grade, and I've gotten extremely worried about my GPA since we have 6 weeks till semester close and my grades are far from perfect.
do you mind giving the weighted and unweighted GPA?
Here are the classes:
Computer Applications-95
Lit/Comp Honors-85
Biology Honors-93
Algebra II Honors-81
World Geography Pre IB-91
Spanish I--86</p>
<p>Special Note- For honors/Pre IB classes at my school they add 7 points to the numerical score. Would my unweighted GPA be 3.4 and would my weighted be 3.68....can anyone verify this? If i'm wrong can you show me how to do the GPA correctly?</p>
<p>How does your school calculate GPA? At my kids' school, there are no A+ or A- grades, so anything 90 or above is an "A." I know other schools have different systems, so no one can help you calculate your GPA unless they are familiar with the system your school uses. Maybe if you can find out more about how the system works at your school, someone could help.</p>
<p>At my school where a B is worth 3 and an A is worth 4 points, you would have a 3.5 unweighted and 3.667 weighted. In your case where you grades are caculated by percentage, you would have a 3.64 weighted and 3.54 Unweighted. Either way its about 3.6 and 3.5. Hope this helps.</p>
<p>Thanks a lot for your help!!........I'm going to try my best to bring it up by the end of the semester(december), at max I'll have a 3.7........how bad will that look on my college apps? I know i'll be able to bring it up to a 3.9 or 4 by next semester.</p>
