Now I know there is much more to admissions than GPA, but I have a specific question. I am applying to GS in march as an EA applicant. I know that a 3.7 is pretty much the least they look for. My GPA is a 3.74, but for the past full year i have had straight A's. My first semester back at school i got a 3.0, with my lowest grade being a C+ in physics. Will Columbia give some leniency considering i have had all A's since my first semester, or will they see it as the same as getting low'ish grades after consecutive 4.0 semesters?
