GPA Question?

<p>I'm kind of new and need a little bit of help calculating my grades</p>

<p>At my school if you take an Advanced course they add 5 points on to your grade and 10 points if you take an AP course. Our school gives our Weighted GPA out of 100 and not out of 4.0, so I've been trying to calculate it by myself.</p>

<p>If I took AP Biology and I got 89 w/o the 10 points and 99 w/ the ten points which grade would I use to calculate my Weighted and Unweighted GPA.</p>

<p>Are you sure? That would make my Weighted and Unweighted GPA abnormally far apart.
For the weighted GPA(99) would count as 5.0 on a 4 point scale and
the Unweighted GPA(89) would count as 3.3ish.</p>

<p>how is a 99 a 5.0? a 99 would be an A or maybe an A+, if your school does A+'s. That would be a 4.0 or maybe a 4.3.</p>
