GPA Question!

<p>Okay, I am a little confused about what this 4 point GPA that most people mention that they have. My school does it out of 100... my UW is like 94 and W is like 96. </p>

<p>And *** is up with people that have like a 3.7 UW and a 5.1 W. Mine would be like a 3.76 and 3.84 and I have 8 AP Classes....??? Confused please clarify.</p>

<p>Also, is a 100 average a 4.0 or is it a different number. Because I find it hard to believe that people in a million AP classes can have a 100 average unweighted. Thanks =)</p>

<p>mu school does it on the 100 scale too, but every school that uses the 4.0 system and weights classes is different, i've heard anything from a 90-100 being considered a 4.0, and ap's getting anywhere to no weight to 1.1 or 1.2 weight-it changes everywhere</p>

<p>every school has a different scale, whether it be a 4.0, 5.0 or it is on the 100 point scale. that is why colleges redo each and every gpa using their own method.</p>
