<p>Not really - you’ll have >90% chance to be rejected with all three.</p>
<p>Well I am guessing having higher stats will generally have a positive impact on your chances, according to statistics. And I believe that applies to pretty much any school.</p>
<p>MIT stated on its admissions blog that your transcript outweighs everything else, but doesn’t necessarily overpower. It might be similar at most schools (they are, of course, primarily academic institutions - so any academics should always be good).</p>
<p>GPA is just a number… an important number only because it condenses lots of important transcript info… but they will certainly be deciding between a ~3.9 GPA and lots of others like it… so they might be more interested in your transcript to give them the same information.</p>
