GPA Question

I understand that Hopkins recalculates your Soph./Jr. year GPA and that they take into consideration +/-.

Sophomore and Junior years combined, I've gotten 5 B's out of 30 grades (so 25 A's). However, nearly all my A's are A-...I rarely get solid A's. Will this pull me down too much in regards to the recalculated GPA?

Also to ask, do they consider solely your academic core classes (Foreign Language, Science, Math, English, Social Studies)? And they do unweight it right? and how much consideration do they give to your rigor?

This discussion thread on the Hopkins Forums should provide you with ample information about how GPA is evaluated by the Johns Hopkins Admissions committee:

just another question related to GPA:

say someone switches schools after freshman or soph. year…and the new school is (much) harder in terms of rigor, and the grades/GPA go down. Will this be taken into account?

If you had read through the Hopkins Forums link I posted above ([Hopkins Forums -> Questions about GPA / Class rank](<a href=“Leak nudes - The Home Of The Sexiest Thots, Nipple Slips, Bikini Pictures, Nude Streamers From Patreon, Onlyfans And Much More!”>Leak nudes - The Home Of The Sexiest Thots, Nipple Slips, Bikini Pictures, Nude Streamers From Patreon, Onlyfans And Much More!)), you would have read the following:

This holds true for students who switch high schools … your grades are always reviewed in the context of the school you obtained those grades.
