<p>So, it looks like some schools give 4.3's for an A+. But my school only gives a 4.0 for anything above a 93. The 4.3 seems like a cheap way to get a high GPA. What do colleges think/do/know about that?</p>
<p>When you send your transcript to the colleges, they use their own GPA system, so everyone is on the same playing field.</p>
<p>About half of college recalculate GPAs using their own formula; half do not.</p>
